Where is Los Tarrales?

Los Tarrales Natural Reserve is a 2,600 acre farm located on the southern slope of the Atitlan Volcano in Guatemala. It is a 2-3 hour drive from Guatemala City and Antigua, Guatemala and home to more than 360 species of birds, 270 species of butterflies and many mammals, reptiles and serpents. It is a wildlife haven in a country constantly threatened by deforestation.

Los Tarrales coffees are shade grown Arabicas with special care taken not to use insecticides that would damage the local ecosystem. By hand picking and slow drying their cherries, their coffee's quality is maintained through careful curation.

Soulful Coffee Roasters coordinates directly with Los Tarrales. The direct trade relationship with Zachary Daggett and his father-in-law, Andy Burge, ensures the highest quality coffees are milled and shipped when we order.

When you order the Guatemala Los Tarrales coffee from Soulful, either Washed, Honeyed or Natural processed, you are getting a super special coffee from a small farmer and are supporting their efforts in sustainably grown coffee. We thank you, they thank you and the many animals and insects thank you for your support!
